Visit of the Observatory of Haute-Provence
Each year, several groups of students have the opportunity to visit the Geophysical station of the Observatory of Haute-Provence a site where many ground-based instruments used for trends and satellite validations are in operation. During these visits students can see Lidars, spectrometers, and balloon sounding.
Pedagogical projects
The région Île de France, administrative area around Paris, gave a grant to GEOmon to develop pedagogical projects with French secondary schools during scholar years of 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. You will find descriptions of these activities on this link. As GEOmon will work with French schools only, these pages are not in English but in French. For the future, we hope to develop an European network of schools, which will then of course be in English.
